Coronation Street star Elle Mulvaney is best known for playing Amy Barlow on the ITV soap.
The actress, who is celebrating her 21st birthday today (October 1), made her debut as the daughter of Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) in 2010.
While Liam Scholes played Eli Higginson, a criminal friend of Corey Brent (Maximus Evans), who was the man who kicked Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) to death.

Liam played the role from May until September in 2021 and despite crossing paths with Elle on set of the soap, this isn't where they first met.
In late 2022, rumours began swirling that the actors were dating after they were spotted at Winter Wonderland together. The couple confirmed their romance just weeks later, both sharing sweet mirror selfies to their Instagram pages.
The photos were taken the day they headed to the festive event in London, with Elle captioning the post: "miss u winter wonderland." Just days later, the soap star duo spent their first Christmas together.
Sharing a selection of snaps online, Elle looked ultra glamorous in a sequin minidress and a pair of silver peep toe heels. While Liam looked dapper in a vibrant teal suit and white trainers.
The couple looked more loved-up than ever, gazing into each others eyes as they posed next to their Christmas tree. "A glittery christmas," Elle captioned the photos.
Liam, who has starred as Noel McManus in the most recent series of Waterloo Road, paid tribute to his girlfriend on Valentines Day earlier this year. Posting a black and white picture of Elle while out for dinnr, the actor gushed: "What a lucky guy I am," alongside his girlfriend's name and a green heart emoji.
At the end of June, the couple enjoyed a day out together at Lytham Festival in Lancashire. Later taking to her Instagram Stories with a photo of the pair from the festival, Elle made a confession about their relationship.
"From us meeting at a festival… to us going to one together," she penned alongside a white heart. Liam then reshared the post to his own page, adding the caption: "Full circle xx."
The following month, Elle and Liam put on a loved-up display as they attended The Great Summer Social Luanch at Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village. The pair were in high spirits as they played a game of mini golf at the event.

The brunette beauty cut a causal figure in a black leather jacket and a pair of pink trousers. While Liam opted for a white floral patterned shirt teamed with a pair of black jeans.
Liam is also the lead guitarist of indie band, The Lanks, and Elle regularly supports her beau at his gigs. The couple are still as loved up as ever, heading on a fun-filled date night at the beginning of September to Chaos Karts in Manchester.
