ITV I’m A Celeb viewers ‘complain to Ofcom’ over ‘shocking’ show scenes

ITV's latest series of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! may have only been on our TV screens for a matter of days, but viewers have already threatened to make a "report to Ofcom".

As this year's campmates get accustomed to life Down Under, bonds between the 10 celebrities have started to form and, in some instances, tensions have started to emerge too as they get to grip with jungle life and their diet of beans and rice.

But of the moments shared by the campmates, TV presenter Josie Gibson was left in shock after accidentally seeing politician Nigel Farage in the shower on Monday 20 November's episode.

As a result of the incident, viewers were given a nudity warning prior to the episode airing, causing some viewers to take to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their concern about the warning.

"I better not see Nigel's [bleep], I'll scream and report to Ofcom," wrote one I'm A Celeb viewer. Another added: "@ofcom please ensure @ITV have trigger warnings when I'm witnessing Nigel in the shower thank you. I will be invoicing my therapy bill."

Meanwhile, a third wrote: "Nudity? Please be Fred not Farage," while another agreed: "Nudity warning on tonight's show. Please tell me it's not Farage," Another fan commented: "'With nudity, next is I'm A Celebrity,' Oh god." And another asked: "Farage is going to show us all his [bleep], isn't he?"

While viewers at home expressed their shock at the moment, This Morning's Josie, 38, took the incident on the chin as she entered the Bush Telegraph to joke about what she had just seen.

“Freaking hell! I wasn’t expecting to see Nigel Farage’s bottom so soon! But, I’ve seen worse. No, I haven’t. I haven’t! Fair play to him. He’s not shy, he just gets on in there. At least he’s clean," she said.

Elsewhere, hosts Ant and Dec reacted, with Ant saying: "Nooooooooo! Make it go away!" and "It's burned into my brain. Wow!" He added: "Not every day you see a politician naked in the shower."

Dec even chimed in and said: "Poor Josie got a fright, didn't she," adding that "Good job he didn't turn around, she might have seen the honourable member." Meanwhile, Ant cried: "Shhhh. Now I'm thinking of it. I never wanted to think of it!"

Elsewhere on the show, Nigel caused a stir when speaking to fellow campmate Fred Sirieix about Brexit and the pair ended up engaging in a rather heated exchange when the First Dates star asked the politician about the benefits of Brexit.
