KATIE Price was left red faced after she asked fans if they want her to host the next series of Love Island – and she was met with a resounding no.

The 43-year-old decided to do a poll on her Instagram account after Laura Whitmore announced she was stepping down from the coveted role.

Katie asked: “Would you like to see me present Love Island?”

While she did get some support, 72% of Katie’s followers admitted they weren’t keen on the idea.

A number of names have already been suggested to replace Laura – including Maya Jama, Emily Atack and even 2022 winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Katie is of course no stranger to reality TV and earlier this week she hinted she could host the Big Brother reboot after winning the celeb version of the show back in 2015.

Sharing a snap of her leaving the iconic house seven years ago, Katie wrote: "I won Big Brother! Would you like me to present it?"

Katie recently returned to social media after taking a self-imposed break.

She then jetted off on holiday – her tenth of the year – with three of her five children, but without fiancé Carl Woods after being dogged by split rumours.

A source told The Sun: "She's gone away with Harvey, Jett and Bunny for a bit of quality time as a family. Carl's not there. It's just a family trip."

It comes after Katie sparked speculation she'd split from Carl after she told partygoers she was single during a boozy night out.

A furious Carl denied the rumours before Katie appeared to announce their split once again on her verified TikTok account.

But she later insisted she'd been hacked.

The Sun recently revealed Katie had turned down £250k to take part in the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating.

A source told The Sun: "Katie was approached by producers and offered a huge sum to take part in the show this year, but she's still with Carl."
