Lorraine Kelly appeared to take aim at actresses Zoë Saldana and Florence Pugh as she shared her take on the outfits they were to the star studded Oscars.

During her self titled show, the 63-year-old sat down with stylist Mark Heyes, as they discussed the best and worst dressed celebs of the evening.

But as the stylist talked her through the dresses worn on the night, Lorraine failed to mince her words.

Discussing Zoë's ensemble, Lorraine described the long flowy gown as a "nuisance" while admitting that Florence's dress looked like a "duvet".

Kick starting the conversation on Zoë's dress, Mark said: "Then we have Zoë Saldana here as well, she was in outerwear underwear, that kind of vibe."

Chiming in Lorraine said: "I'm not sure!"

She added: "No, I'm not sure about that. I'm not sure about the the bibby bit."

Mark replied: "There's going to be a lot of these coming through. A lot of outerwear underwear coming through- you know kind of lace pieces, kind of drape shaped"

Looking at the hem of the dress, Lorraine said: "It's a bit crushed at the bottom and that's a nuisance."

A few moments later, the pair also shared their thoughts on Florence's gown which included a thigh high split.

Mark said: "Ok, best appearance of a leg for the night. There was quite a few leg moments.

"Florence Pugh I'm going to start off with."

Stopping him in his tracks, Lorraine said: "I don't like that one, but she's a kid she can get away with it.

    "I'm not sure, it's a duvet. It's a duvet."

The news comes after the film Everything Everywhere All at Once picked up seven awards at the prestigious event.

Actress Michelle Yeoh also became the first Asian woman to win best actress for her role in the movie.

Sharing her take on her win, she said: "For all the little boys and girls who look like me watching tonight, this is a beacon of hope and possibilities.

"And ladies, don't let anybody tell you that you are ever past your prime."
