Love Island fans vow to complain to Ofcom after Mehdi picks fight with Whitney

Love Island fans were not impressed with Mehdi Edno’s behaviour towards Whitney Adebayo – and have threatened to complain to Ofcom.

The couple seems to be going from strength to strength on the hit ITV2 dating show ever since Whitney entered the villa as a bombshell.

But things took an awkward turn on Thursday night (June 15) when the two appeared to have their first fight – and fans were left fuming.

The pair’s row started after a confrontation between Jess Harding and Whitney saw Jess walk away in tears.

After, Mehdi questioned Whitney’s involvement in the drama and was quick to admit the situation was a “red flag” for him.

He also said she was the “cause” of the drama in the villa and added: “If this is what you are, I don’t want it.”

Whitney, who has become a fan fave on the show, was left floored by Mehdi outburst.

Despite trying to clarify that she did not make Jess cry, Whitney and Mehdi left the conversation at a standstill.

And it seems the show’s loyal legion of viewers were left equally as taken back – with some warning that they’ll report Mehdi for his behaviour.

“We gotta come together and report Mehdi to ofcom,” fumed one person.

Another added: “ring ring ofcom will be hearing from me,” as a third quipped: “I think we should all head over to Ofcom as Mehdi is making me highly uncomfortable!”

Echoing their thoughts, a fourth viewer chimed in and said: “I’m writing to ofcom about this. mehdi, count your f*****g days.”

Someone else raged: “That was nasty,” while a sixth mused: “You know what, Mehdi actually planned this to be his relationship exit fight. He's no longer interested in Whitney, so he wanted to make this fight a big deal in order to back out.”

Later in the episode, it the two appeared to patch things up when Mehdi apologised to Whitney for "getting the wrong end of the stick."

She probed him further to explain why he was apologising – but it seemed Whitney was still upset.

Elsewhere in the episode, fans were swooning after seeing blonde stunner Molly Marsh show off a “sexy” twerk during a challenge.

The singleton was all geared up for the latest competition which saw the girls dressed up as sexy footballers to perform tricks and attempt to play goalkeeper.

At one point, the girls were tasked with sliding along a slipper surface on the floor into the goal.

But Molly caught viewers’ eye when she took her slip n’ slide to next level with a very cheeky twerk.
