Love Island fans have been left fuming after Ekin-Su was the topic of discussion on Sunday nights (17 July) Aftersun.

Ekin-Su is quite the fan-favourite on the ITV show and is currently coupled up with Davide Sanclimenti.

During Friday's (15 July) episode, the contestants took part in 'movie night', where they saw what the others got up during the Casa Amor break.

One clip showed interactions between Ekin and George, where the Turkish actress told him in bed: "We're just friends."

A following clip then saw the pair the next day, with her asking him not to repeat anything to the rest of the villa.

Laura Whitmore addressed the ongoing Ekin-Su and Davide drama in front of guests, who included singer Tom Grennan last night.

She kicked off the show by saying: "Once again Ekin-Su swore that nothing happened with George and it seems Davide doesn’t believe her."

Tom replied saying: "It defo happened though didn’t it".

Oldbury comedian Darren Harriott continued: "She said her head never turned but I think her hand might have turned, and possibly wrist."

Fans have been left raging and taken to Twitter to complain.

One person ranted: "WE NEED TO GET LAURA WHITMORE SACKED AS LOVE ISLAND HOST.

"I miss Caroline Flack.

"Laura is so misogynistic & adding more fuel to the Ekin-Su and George thing when I feel he was bitter he got rejected. It’s unfair when Ekin isn’t there to defend herself. Be kind tho?"

Another said: "Laura Whitmore stirring the Ekin-Su pot when her close friend Caroline Flack took their life over media pressure and public opinion just doesn’t sit right with me.

"How you gunna put a contestant through the wringer when both parties have said NOTHING HAPPENED? #LoveIsland"

While a third agreed: "The Love island situation makes me want to scream Laura whatever was very quick to shut down Rachel’s comments about her experience playing the feminist card but was encouraging misogyny towards Ekin-Su,"

Ekin's handler has repeatedly spoken out about the matter, denying all claims and tweeted: "The fact that the slut shaming is being passed off as banter and good television is very concerning at this rate."

When approached for comment, a Love Island spokesperson said: "We do not condone trolling against our host or our Islanders and it is a shame to see negative social commentary elevated in this way."
