It all kicked off tonight on Married At First Sight! Following the removal of Luke Worley from the process, two new grooms were married on the hit Channel 4 series. Although the series made history for the first trans bride, fans were disappointed the series did not have another LGBTQ couple.

But on Tuesday night's edition (17 October), Mark and Shaun met at the altar for the first time and officially tied the knot. However, the ceremony was not without its issues and things turned sour quickly.

As Sean first made his way up the aisle, Mark's family were unimpressed as he donned a black suit, and they knew this was against his wishes. Then the moderator made his way up the aisle to announce that Mark was running late.

Earlier on in the episode, he realised he bought the wrong shirt along with him as he was hoping to match his shirt with skull accessories and buttons. As Mark finally made his way to the altar, he was left extremely unimpressed by his husband-to-be Sean's black outfit.

So much so, he wondered in his confessional voiceover whether he still wanted to continue with the process because of it as he says the initial attraction was not there. Viewers then took to Twitter in their droves as they slammed the star.

One fan wrote: "Desperately unpleasant… too shallow ‘he’s wearing black… But the upshot is that Mark and Ella will hate each other as they try to out diva each other." Another said: "Looks like Mark is a diva and his friends and family know it."

"All that drama for another white shirt, Jesus Christ he’s a diva," remarked a third. As a fourth stated: "Mark’s behaviour is just an ick!"

And a fifth commented: "What a brat #Mark is! Doesn't want to get married because the wrong shirt turned up, and if it doesn't arrive, he's 'not going'." The reality TV fan added: "And if what 'he ordered' – meaning the Husband isn't correct, he won't be happy!"
