Married At First Sight Australia’s fifth season is being shown on repeat on E4, after it originally aired in 2018. The unusual dating series sees a panel of experts marry off singletons before they have had a chance to meet in person. Fans are keen to find out what happened between Ryan Gallagher and Davina Rankin.
What happened to Ryan and Davina on MAFS Australia?
The fifth season of Married At First Sight Australia aired in 2018 and at the time, 26-year-old Davina was paired with 29-year-old Ryan.
Davina was a personal trainer and model from Brisbane, whereas Ryan was a tradesman from Sydney.
The pair got married and spent their honeymoon at the Cook Islands, but sadly they split up before the end of the experiment.
They are still separated to this day and fans are curious to find out exactly what happened between the couple.
Season five is now coming to an end in the UK and the participants have returned to review the experiment.
Davina had revealed she had kissed MAFS co-star, Dean Wells, who had initially been partnered with Tracey Jewel.
Ryan explained how he “felt like an idiot”, but said he “didn’t feel heartbroken” after hearing the news.
He later appeared on the Oz version of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! during which he formed a relationship with Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby.
Speaking to his campmates about the romance with Davina, he said he never really liked her in the first place and there had not been much of a connection.
Ryan is on Instagram and he describes himself as a “TV guy, comedian, radio host and MC”. He has posted plenty of photos of himself travelling, but there is nothing to suggest he is in a relationship.
Whereas Davina is now in a relationship with Jaxon Manuel and they have a daughter together called Mila-Mae.
On Father’s Day Davina posted a photo of Jaxon and her daughter with the message: “Thank you for building fences & fixing light bulbs, for doing damage control when mummy is about to lose her s***…and always being the reason we laugh.
”But most of all, thank you for your unconditional love and support, you are our best friend, we love you @jaxonmanuel.”
Davina and Dean were called out by fans after the coupled up and left their initial partners.
Ryan revealed how appearing on the series has inspired him to approach marriage in the traditional way.
Meanwhile Davina has said how she is in no rush to marry Jaxon, but their next move will be buying a house together.

Ryan wished his ex-‘wife’ Davina the best for the future even after the iconic cheating scandal on MAFS.
Davina had sneaked off with Dean, who had said he had been attracted to her even though he was with Tracey at the time.
Tracey was left in shock when Dean announced he was leaving her, as their relationship had been solid to begin with.
Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the cheating, with one saying: “I HATE Davina and Dean on Married At First Sight Australia. Why would they do this to my boy Ryan??? I am so mad.”
Another fan said: “Ryan on Married at first sight Australia is nothing short of a treasure, don’t even get me started on Davina!”
Fans also jumped to Tracey’s defence, encouraging her to break up with Dean following the incident.
Davina had initially called Ryan handsome, whereas Ryan had said Davina was not his usual type, but she was still very attractive.
The pair also had to meet each other’s family and friends, and spend time living together before making a final decision on whether they wanted to stay married.
But the relationship was cut short after Davina told of her intimate moment with Dean.
Ryan seems happy enough following his time on the quirky series, and fans have been showing him plenty of support on Instagram.
Now that Davina has moved on and has settled down with her own family, viewers have also wished her the best of luck in her happy relationship.
