Matrimonial expert Paul Carrick Brunson offers up his wealth of experience on Channel 4’s dating show Married At First Sight UK (MAFS UK), alongside Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas with the panel having some successes. However, what about matchmaker Paul’s own love life and marriage? Express.co.uk takes a look at the star’s wife and his life away from the cameras.
Who is Paul C. Brunson married to?
American star Paul is married to Jill with the couple meeting over two decades ago back in 2000 at Virginia’s Old Dominion University in America while they were both studying there.
Via an Instagram post, Paul said the one thing which made them “instantly attracted to each other” was their mutual “transparency” and “no games were played”.
During their time together, they’ve welcomed two sons Liam and Kingston, with Paul often offering fans a glimpse into family life with some sweet snaps on Instagram.
Most recently, Paul shared a selection of photos with his 208,000 Instagram followers from the MAFS UK launch party, including some cute shots with Jill.
He captioned the pictures: “Jill and I had the best time at last night’s @e4mafsuk launch party.
“What a great way to ring in such a special series of television. Cannot wait for all of you to see the show!”
Paul and Jill have been married for 21 years with the couple celebrating their 21st wedding anniversary back in July this year.
In a candid and heartwarming post, Paul shared a picture with Jill, and wrote: “I can’t believe we’ve been married for 21 years today?

”It feels like yesterday when we said our vows. I’m incredibly blessed to have a best friend and lover I can experience life with.
”Each day is better because of our union, and I’ll never take it for granted. I also want to thank you.
”I believe a marriage is not simply between two individuals but between two families, surrounded by a larger group of friends and other people you allow into your life. If all of those groups are supportive, the marriage stands a better chance of growing.
”Thank you for the many positive messages and comments over the years. We feel the uplifting and support of our marriage and family. We love you.”
Along with MAFS UK, Paul also hosts Celebs Go Dating as he serves up kernels of romantic advice to famous faces looking for love.
Paul, Jill and their sons had previously been living in Washington D.C. and were planning to move to Jamaica back in 2018, however, they changed their plans after the matchmaker was offered a role as a co-host on Celebs Go Dating.
The family ended up moving to the UK instead and what was initially going to be temporary stay for three months turned out to be four years.
In a post from July, Paul said: “Jill and I looked at each other and thought, why not? The boys hadn’t been to the UK before, we’d been planning on a temporary move anyway, and it would be fantastic for the family to spend my breaks during filming to travel Europe.”
He added: “Jill and I love the UK. The boys love the UK. We can all see this being a place we call home permanently.”
Along with his TV shows in the UK, Paul has already written the best-selling book It’s Complicated (But It Doesn’t Have to Be): A Modern Guide to Finding and Keeping Love.
He launched his dating company in 2009 called PCB Agency, writing on his official website: “I’m the world’s most influential matchmaker.” The star also has a podcast called Better With Paul.
Married At First Sight UK airs from Mondays to Thursdays on E4 at 9pm
