The second celebrity to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing has been confirmed following a tense dance-off.
All 14 couples took to the dance floor on Saturday, 7 October, as movie week hit the studio, but it went better for some than others.
This week, it was time for a new leader on the leader board as TV presenter Angela Scanlon and her partner Carlos Gu scored an impressive 35 out of 40.
On the other end of the scale, Paralympic champion Jody Cundy and his professional Jowita Przystał propped up the scoreboard after getting a 20 out of 40 score from the judges.
However, Jody, 44, managed to make his way through to week four as it was Nikita Kanda and Gorka Márquez who faced Love Island star Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima in the dance-off.
On Saturday, Nikita, 28, and Gorka, 33, scored 21 out of 40 for their Jive, while Zara and Graziano were awarded a score of 25 out of 40 for their Paso Doble.
Zara, 26, and Graziano, 29, went first as they danced to The Puss Suite from Puss In Boots before Nikita and Gorka performed their dance to Kids In America from Clueless.
After the dances, it was down to the judges to deliver their thoughts, up first was Craig Revel Horwood, who said: "The couple I’d like to save had both technique and theatricality, and that couple is Zara & Graziano."
Up next was Motsi Mabuse, who explained: "I thought both couples gave it their best, but one couple made a few mistakes that were quite visible, so that’s why I’m saving Zara and Graziano."
Anton Du Beke said similar, as he cast his vote: "I did think both couples danced better in the dance off, unfortunately, there were a couple of small mistakes from one of the couples, so the couple I would like to save is Zara & Graziano."
The trio's votes mean that Nikita and Gorka were the second couple to leave, as head judge Shirley Ballas agreed with her fellow judges.
Speaking to host Tess Daly, a tearful Nikita said: "I don’t want to leave yet, I feel like I’ve let him down. I’ve had the best time and I love all my Strictly family. I’m going to miss you all.
"This has been a dream come true, I’m so grateful. I’ve got to say the biggest thankyou to Gorka, he has been the biggest support, and I’ve had the best time ever."
Gorka then added: "I am beyond proud of her, for someone that doesn’t have any dance experience or performance experience to come on this show and dance in front of millions of people – for three weeks, I think it’s incredible.
"You should be very proud of yourself, you have never let me down, and I am very proud of you. This show is going to teach you so many things about yourself that you can take with you and I take incredible memories. I’ve never laughed so much in three weeks than I did with you!"
