The Devil’s Hour follows the story of Lucy (played by Jessica Raine) who wakes up at exactly 3:33am every night, which is famously known as the Devil’s Hour.

She is awoken by horrific visions, from her mother speaking to empty chairs to Lucy’s young son being withdrawn and emotionless.

Her house is haunted by moments from a life that isn’t her own, leaving Lucy confused and scared.

She realises there is more to these visions than what she first thought when her name becomes linked to a string of brutal murders in the area.

Actress Jessica Raine is best known for starring as Jenny Lee in the BBC period drama Call the Midwife as well as Verity Lambert in the TV movie An Adventure in Space and Time.

Talking about the show at Prime Video Presents 2022, Raine said: “Lucy wakes up every night at 3:33am and has done for her whole life but she doesn’t know why.

“She has an eight-year-old son who is completely blank and is trying to get to the bottom of why her son is so emotionless.

“On top of this, there is a series of dark happenings going on around her and she might be the connection. She’s on the brink of insanity.”
