Tuesday’s (September 19) episode of Coronation Street officially marked the beginning of the end for Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) as the body of one of his murder victims was found.
The victim in question is Leo, who Stephen killed last September. The businessman committed his first kill after Leo found out that he was planning on stealing all of Audrey’s (Sue Nicholls) money.
Stephen then transported Leo’s body and buried it on a wasteground.
That patch of land was recently acquired by the Bailey brothers. Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) and Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) were hoping to work together to build some new houses, but everything was put on hold tonight.

After a meeting with Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown), Ronnie returned to the building site to find Craig (Colson Smith) and an investigation team.
Craig explained that work from a digger had caused a body to be uncovered and now, the area is a crime scene.
Ed and Ronnie were understandably horrified at the discovery and were left with no choice but to return home while the police carried out their work.
As rumours started to spread about who the body could belong to, Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) and Stephen were in the flat feeling all loved up after their trip away.
Jenny and Stephen commenting on their happy and exciting future will be a case of famous last words, as Jenny will inevitably be told by Craig that her ex never made it to Canada, but was in fact murdered.
The walls will seriously start to close in on Stephen in the coming weeks. As he tries to cover his tracks surrounding Leo’s murder, he will also be spotted by Tim (Joe Duttine) at the canal, which is where Teddy’s body is hidden.
As if that wasn’t enough, pictures have also confirmed Stephen will attempt to strangle Tim, and will also debate an exit from Weatherfield entirely after Todd was spotted filming at an airport.
Stephen will have to leave eventually – but how?
