Who is Anne Robinson's ex husband Charles Wilson?

Anne Robinson has been married twice, with her first husband being Charles Wilson.

When they divorced, she had to pay John £20M.

Anne was, however, allowed to keep her impressive property portfolio – which included a London townhouse, a penthouse in New York, a Long Island mansion and a cottage in Gloucestershire.

Despite the break-up, the former couple have remained good friends.

Who has Anne Robinson dated?

Following her divorce from John, Anne has liked to keep her private life out of the spotlight.

However, she previously opened up to The Sun about finding love again, and how she didn't "get on" with dating apps.

She told us in 2017: "I wouldn't date any of the men on Tinder. I deleted it and wouldn't even know how to get the account back.

"I don't want to date someone bald and with a moustache. It is slim pickings out there! I would rename Tinder 'desperate'."'

However, Anne added that she still enjoys an active sex life, and revealed: "I hope all women my age are having sex, why wouldn't they be? It's what keeps me young."

Then in December 2023, The Sun exclusively revealed how Anne was in a relationship with Andrew Parker-Bowles.

The retired Army Brigadier is the ex-husband of Queen Camilla and shares two children Tom and Laura with her – he was even present at her marriage to King Charles and their Coronation.

Andrew and Anne have reportedly been dating since late 2022.

His ex-wife Queen Camilla is said to support the relationship.

A friend of the pair told The Sun: “They have judiciously avoided being photographed together as they both wanted to keep this quiet for as long as possible.

“Annie proudly tells everyone she is the daughter of a market trader chicken-seller and is as far removed from a toff as could be — frankly it beats any storyline The Crown could possibly come up with.

“Annie and Andrew get on splendidly — she makes him laugh, a lot, and he is one of the few people to get away with poking fun at her."

Does Anne Robinson have any children?

Together with her first husband Charles, she had her only child.

In 1971, they welcomed their daughter Emma.

Just like her parents, Emma also went into journalism as a profession.

Anne previously revealed how she stayed with Emma and her husband during lockdown.

Speaking to The Mirror the TV star confessed that it was a "powerful experience" to have her family all in one home again, and it helped her to "reconnect" with her daughter.

She said: "I don't think until we sat back and thought about this summer, did we quite grasp what had happened to us.

"The first few weeks after they arrived at my house, it felt like an invasion.

"Fortunately, my barn has a separate stable block which is self-contained and has its own kitchen."

Anne also joked: "She bossed me around in the same way as she does her children and their puppy.
