A serial killer dubbed the "Angel of Death" uttered a chilling 10-word threat when he was locked up for life.
Carlos Eduardo Robledo Puch said: "Someday I'm going to get out and kill you all," after he was branded a psychopath in court. He committed a string of armed robberies, raped two women and killed 11 people in the space of just 11 months making him Argentina's most prolific serial killer.
Reports said he "didn't fit the profile" because he was young, attractive, intelligent and from a wealthy family. But Robledo Puch turned his back on his privileged life to carry out his murderous spree.

He was branded the "Angel of Death" for indiscriminately shooting his first two victims as they slept. According to the Serial Killer Calendar, Carlos Robledo Puch committed his first robbery aged 19.
He and childhood friend Jorge Antonio Ibanez robbed the nightclub Enamor, in Olivos in March 1971. They broke in and stole money. However, before they fled, Robledo Puch used a pistol to shoot and kill the owner and the night watchman, who were both sleeping.
His next victims came a few months later when he and his partner broke into a Mercedes Benz parts store in Vicente Lopez. There, he found a couple sleeping with their newborn child. He shot the couple but only the wounded wife survived, but they sexually assaulted her.
He also shot the baby while inside the crib. He missed, but he still managed to take away a large sum of money. Robledo Puch's crime spree continued with the same pattern, killing people in their sleep as he robbed them.
The pair robbed a supermarket just 15 days later, shooting and killing the security guard. Celebrating the amount of cash they'd got away with, they toasted each other with stolen whisky over the man's dead body.
However, when Ibanez died in a car crash, many questioned whether Robledo Puch, who escaped unscathed, had deliberately caused the accident. He had a second partner in Hector Somoza, another childhood friend.

They followed the same modus operandi until Robledo Puch made a brutal blunder in 1972. He accidentally shot and killed Somoza during one of their break-ins. He tried to cover up his identity by burning off his partner's face with a blowtorch, but he forgot to check Somoza's pockets, which contained his identity card.
Three days later, police captured Robledo Puch and he was charged just after his 20th birthday. He was tried and sentenced to life imprisonment after being convicted of 11 murders, 17 robberies, one attempted murder, and sex crimes in a 1980 trial.
His last words to the court were "Someday I'm going to get out and kill you all."
Carlos Robledo Puch is now 70 and has spent 50 years in prison making him the longest-serving prisoner in South America.
Robledo Puch requested a review of his sentence or to be executed by a lethal injection. But both requests have been denied as Argentina does not have a death penalty.
