A BOY aged 13 has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed near a busy Tube station.

Emergency crews were scrambled to Notting Hill, West London, following reports of a group of children with a knife.

They discovered the 13-year-old boy suffering stab wounds close to Latimer Road station.

He was rushed to hospital following the horror at around 9.15am.

Police do believe the boy's injuries are life threatening.

The Met confirmed no arrests have been made with a cordon currently in place.

A statement said: "Police were called at 09:15hrs on Friday, 20 January to reports of a number of youths in possession of a knife.

"Officers, including firearms officers, attended. A 13-year-old boy was found with stab injuries.

"He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."

Anyone with information has been asked to call police on 101 quoting reference CAD 1645/20Jan.
