This is the terrifying moment a Mercedes flies through the air, past one car before smashing into another.

The bizarre crash was captured in shocking Ring doorbell video, filmed from a house in Bexley, south-east London.

Police said two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and that two garden walls and a telegraph pole were damaged following the incident in Hurst Road just before 8.40pm on Saturday evening. 

The 44-second clip initially shows the car, well off the ground, flying past a light blue car in a driveway, causing the vehicle to shake from side-to-side.

Then another angle from an adjacent driveway shows the Mercedes ploughing into another parked car, shuddering it sideways and sparking an explosion of debris.

A woman is then seen rushing outside, raising her arms in disbelief at the carnage in front of her.

Witnesses said it was a miracle that no one was badly hurt in the bizarre smash

Karen Hearn, 35, who was inside the house with her child, told the News Shopper it was a miracle that no one was badly hurt.

She said: ‘After the car went into the garden wall, all the bricks went flying off onto the house and it smashed the window of my unborn child’s nursery.

‘Luckily, my child was with me at the time in my bedroom. I couldn’t have imagined what would have happened if anyone was in the nursery room.’

A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘At 20:39hrs on Saturday, 2 July police were called to Hurst Road, Bexley following reports of a road traffic collision.

‘Two men were taken to hospital with injuries that were later assessed as non-life threatening.

‘Damage was caused to a telegraph pole and the garden walls of two houses.

‘Hurst Road was closed while the emergency services responded to the incident.’
