Dec Donnelly steps out for first time since catching Covid as wife Ali cradles baby son

Declan Donnelly has been seen for the first time since contracting Coronavirus, with the TV star heading out in London with his family.

The 47 year old, who recently starred in the 2022 I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! trailer, was spotted enjoying a morning at a local park with his wife Ali, 43, and their two children, Isla, four, and four month old son Jack.

Dec looked in good spirits despite recently announcing that both he and his presenting partner Ant McPartlin had tested positive for Covid-19, forcing them to miss this year's National Television Awards.

The dad-of-two cut a casual figure in a black tracksuit paired with a Prada puffer gilet and a pair of navy blue trainers. He finished off his laidback look with a green baseball cap and a pair of sunglasses.

Dec could be seen happily pushing his young daughter, who was dressed in a vibrant multicoloured coat, on her trike as they made their way round the park.

Meanwhile Ali, who married Dec in 2015, wore a similar get up as her husband and carried their baby son, who was born in July, strapped to her chest.

She tied her blonde locks back in ponytail and opted to wear sunglasses for the family outing, while Jack was wrapped up in a white baby grow.

Ali walked her and Dec's dog round the park while he headed off to pick up hot drinks from a nearby refreshments stand.

The star announced on 13 October that he had contracted Covid-19, with him and Ant sharing a joint post on social media.

The humorous pair posted images of their positive Covid tests to their shared Instagram account saying "we even get ill together".

The pair said: "After feeling unwell a few days ago we both tested and we're positive for Covid…

"We're resting up at home and are so sorry we can't be at the @officialntas… Best of luck everyone… and get well soon to anyone else in the same boat."

The duo won the Best Presenter gong for the 21st year in a row at Thursday's 2022 National Television Awards in London.

Ant and Dec beat the likes of Alison Hammond, Bradley Walsh and Graham Norton to the gong, with their close pal and Saturday Night Takeaway co-star Stephen Mulhern accepting the award on their behalf at the ceremony.
