Former EastEnders star Preeya Kalidas was taken to hospital after a nasty accident at the gym.

The soap star, who played Amira Masood in the BBC drama from 2009 to 2012, detailed what happened on her social media pages.

She told fans: “So up and about starting the day in the gym. Then trapped finger in door.

“Now In A&E… moral of the story. Anything can happen at any point so LIVE!”
