Kerry Katona posts video update as daughter becomes unwell

Kerry Katona has rushed her daughter DJ to the hospital amid another health scare.

The former Atomic Kitten star, 43, took her nine-year-old girl to the Accident and Emergency department after becoming concerned with her health.

This follows after DJ had reportedly been suffering from a series of fainting episodes.

DJ was seen lying down in a hospital bed after her mother shared a snap on social media.

Kerry took to Instagram to share an update on her youngest daughter’s wellbeing with her 825,000 followers.

“Poor baby girl second day. Soooo Dj has been really poorly had to leave rehearsals and stay in hospital with her,” she wrote.

“But she’s on the mend and hopefully will be home soon.” (sic)

Days before, Kerry revealed that DJ had been fainting on a regular basis for months.

Kerry shares her youngest DJ with the late George Kay, who passed away back in 2019.

She also shares a 16-year-old daughter named Heidi and a 15-year-old son named Max with her ex-husband Mark Croft.

Following the health update, Kerry confessed that it has affected her well-being due to all the worrying she’s been doing.

She explained in her OK! Magazine column that, following DJ’s health issues, doctors ran extensive tests which included a number of MRI scans. She then revealed that they “found something”.

Writing for the magazine, she admitted: “Annabel Giles sadly passed away at 64 last week, which was awful. It really scares me to read things like that. It’s such a shame and I’m thinking of her family.”

“I have health anxiety when it comes to DJ,” she continued. “I worry about her, especially recently as she’s had a few fainting spells. We took her for an MRI and the doctor found something.”

She explained that they were awaiting results from a neurosurgeon but said that the “doctor seems to think she’s alright”.

It is said that the Doctor mentioned: “Lots of us could have what she has but we’ve just not had MRIs.”
