WHETHER it's a wonky DIY fringe or a tattoo we got during a night-out, we all have things we regret.

And one mum, Angelina Daw (@angelina.daw) is no exception – she had the brilliant idea of giving herself a haircut at home… and it's safe to say, things did not go as planned.

Desperate to give her long locks a little trim, the mum decided to take matters in her own hands and grabbed a pair of scissors.

However, rather than an even layer, the once luscious hair was left with a rather wobbly design, with some bits significantly shorter than others.

Mortified, Angelina took to TikTok to share the major fail, describing the hair horror as ''trash''.

Posing in a black sweatshirt and appearing anything but happy, the mum said: ''When you thought cutting your own hair was a good idea.

In the video, which has since taken the social media platform by storm, Angelina then proceeded to turn around to reveal the tragic aftermath.

''Well, just as I thought – trash.

''I need to fix it,'' the mum was desperate.

But whilst Angelina may have been convinced it was her back that looked atrocious, viewers reckoned she should've been more concerned about what's going on in the front.

Speaking of bad haircuts, Angelina's not the only to have suffered a total fail.

One mum tried to give her toddler a fringe at home but she moved – and now people reckon the child will need to go therapy when she's older.

Shewanted to give her daughter a quick haircut.

But what Alexandra Cunningham hadn't anticipated was that her toddler daughter Betty would move halfway through.

She took to TikTok to share a video explaining just what had happened, as she said: "I just cut Betty's hair and I don't know if I need to laugh or cry.

"She moved, and I lost a good hold of what I was holding. To cut her bangs."

Alexandra then showed what her adorable daughter looked like after the haircut mishap, with her fringe in a diagonal line across her forehead.

"I promise to pay for her therapy when she's older," Alexandra wrote over the video.

"How bad is it actually?" she captioned her clip.

People were quick to weigh in on the hilarious situation, with one writing: "I did not expect it to be that bad, but it was!"

"You did nottttt omgggg, when she grows up she's is gonna be mad but she looks so cute rnnn," another added.

To which Alexandra replied: "LOL hence the fact that I will 100% pay for any therapy this leads to."
