The mum-of-three recently took things back to basics with the simple tricks she uses everyday to turn back the clock.

First of all, when it comes to concealer it can be tempting to pile on as much as possible to try and cover up dark circles.

But not only does this waste valuable product but it can also end up looking cakey, which will only highlight fine lines and wrinkles even more.

Then take your time blending it in with either a brush or damp beauty sponge until it's fully worked into your skin.

Next it's time to conquer the eyebrows.

"Filling in your brows makes a huge difference, they not only help frame your face but give them more depth and thickness automatically makes you look younger," the make-up whizz explained.

Finally, don't forget to add bronzer or contour to your cheeks to create a more sculpted look.

This doesn't have to be as intimidating as it sounds.

Find where your cheekbones are and apply a little bit of bronzer just underneath.

"Placing contour or bronzer too low beneath your cheekbone drags your face down," Meg explained.

Make sure you don't go too far above or below your cheekbones and "don't blend any further in than the centre of your pupil."

The same rule applies to blusher, which you should also place higher and "blend out towards your hairline."

Fellow beauty fans couldn't believe how good the finished make-up looked and couldn't wait to try the tips for themselves.

One commented: I'm going to try this, looks beautiful!"

And a second said: "Love the tips, I am 38 and do them all."
