Princess Kate’s hot pink £1,350 Stella McCartney dress is now 40 percent off

Kate, Princess of Wales, 41, took part in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations with the wider Royal Family 14 months ago.

On the final day of the celebrations, which included the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, the main working royals gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony to celebrate the late Queen’s historic 70-year reign.

The Princess of Wales looked phenomenal wearing a Stella McCartney belted draped crepe midi dress, which originally cost £1,350.

However, fans of Kate’s style will be thrilled to hear it is currently on sale for £810, with 40 percent off the original price tag.

For fans interested in the style of the dress, its description says: “Stella McCartney’s dress is timeless and elegant, so it’s no surprise that Kate Middleton wore it to Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

“Made from fuchsia crepe, it has a draped bodice with voluminous sleeves and a removable belt that cinches your waist. Style it with minimal accessories, just like the Princess of Wales.”

Kate has only worn this dress once, so it may be an item that she’ll re-wear in the upcoming months as a lovely surprise for fans.

The Princess has long been a fan of Stella McCartney. The British designer has dressed the royal on many occasions, including Prince Philip’s 90th birthday meal in 2011, the Commonwealth Games in 2014, and Prince Archie’s christening in 2019.

Stella McCartney is known for her more modern creations and use of sustainable materials, making her a natural fit for the environmentally-conscious and thrifty Princess.

Also, the designer was one of 1,000 individuals on the late Queen’s Jubilee Birthday Honours list and was even awarded a CBE for her services to fashion and sustainability just days before the Jubilee.

Therefore, it was a lovely gesture from Kate to wear one of Stella McCartney’s designs on the final day of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

To accessorise, the Princess wore a pair of colourful gold and gemstone earrings.

They featured a red or pink stone at the centre surrounded by diamond petals. There were also blue stones set to the side.

Kate’s earrings were reportedly part of the late Queen’s private collection, as she was gifted them by her parents for her 19th birthday in 1945.

The Princess had worn them on a couple of occasions previously. Kate also accessorised with an Emmy Natasha clutch with gold piping in a red lipstick colour.

Unfortunately, this clutch bag is no longer in stock for royal fans to purchase.

For footwear, Kate wore Emmy London shoes in the “Rebecca” style, in a matching colour to her Stella McCartney dress, which are also no longer in stock.
