A Place In The Sun star teases huge return to Channel 4 show after 14 years away

Former A Place In The Sun presenter Amanda Lamb is set to make a dramatic return to the Channel 4 show after 14 years.

The 51-year old went on to work on other property series in My Flat-Pack Home and You Deserve This House and has appeared as a guest on several other shows including Lorraine and Jeremy Vine.

But it seems her absence from APITS has made her heart grow fonder as she admitted at the weekend to "missing" the programme, which she "had so much fun doing".

Amanda, who fronted the show between 2001 and 2009 dropped a huge hint of a potential comeback after being questioned by the Express.

The mother-of-two revealed: "I do miss it, of course I do. There's nothing better than waking up in the morning and looking out to a beautiful beach.

"I've got a couple of things in the pipeline; I’m doing lots of stuff on my Instagram, I’ve just got a role where I'm going to be an ambassador for a chain of hotels, so I’ll be travelling around to some really lovely hotels."

Regarding APITS, she then teased: "I might be doing something with them this year, but I can’t say any more than that!"

Amanda clearly still has a passion for visiting sunnier climbs if her Instagram account is anything to go by.

On Sunday (August 13) she took a boat trip to the Greek island of Spinalonga, taking in its array of shops and cafes on her trip.

The past month has also seen her take in Crete and the Spanish city of Seville with her two daughters.
