Gogglebox favourites Abbie and Georgia look worlds away from the sofa on boozy night out | The Sun

GOGGLEBOX favourites Abbie Lynn and Georgia Bell looked worlds away from the sofa during their boozy night out last night.

Over the years, the pair have become favourites with their hilarious comments and on-screen banter.

But last night the Gogglebox best pals swapped the sofa for a sizeable cocktail as they enjoyed the Bank Holiday atmosphere.

Taking to social media, Abbie shared a peek inside the night out as she clinked glasses with her blonde bestie.

Georgia looked delighted as she got involved in the Boomerang while holding a G&T.

Georgia opted for a floral dress for the evening, and wore her blonde locks to one side while sporting a glam makeup look.

And Abbie looked just as glam, and decided on a white blazer top with gold buttons and a stunning glossy hair look.

In another clip shared by the pair, Georgia could be seen waving her arms in the air as she had a boogie in her floral frock.

Abbie and Georgia from Durham joined the Gogglebox cast for season 12.

The pair are best friends and have been appearing on the show since 2018.

And it's fair to say they have had their fair share of memorable moments.

But earlier this month the girls had fans seething, as their hapless attitude left viewers shouting at their TV sets.

Things took a slightly awkward turn when the cast watched an episode from the BBC mini-series, Great Expectations, which is based on one of Charles Dickens' books.

While watching the show, Abbie and Georgia struggled to recognise who the famous novelist was.

Turning to her friend, Abbie said: “Do you know who Charles Dickens is?”

“Do I hell,” Georgia hit back, to which Abbie responded: “I think he writes a book called Twit and T**t.”

Both of the women seemed completely confused, and may have been talking about Roald Dahl who wrote the Twits, or were thinking of Dickens' book Oliver Twist.

Fans immediately took to Twitter to vent, with one saying: “I'm sorry, you can't live in England and not have heard of Charles Dickens-Twist is a school staple. 5 different versions of Christmas Carol are on every year. What school did these girls go to?”

Another tweeted:“Gogglebox I am in despair – do none of these people know Charles Dickens, even less, read any of his books??"
