REAL life Coronation Street couple Georgia Taylor and Charlie De Melo have been enjoying a sun-soaked holiday to Italy.

The pair, who played a married couple on the soap before Charlie's character Imran Habeeb was killed off last year, travelled abroad to Sorrento and shared lots of snaps to Instagram.

Actors Georgia, 43, and Charlie, 33, beamed from ear-to-ear in a series of selfies, which saw them check out some historical landmarks before heading to the beach.

The Wigan-native wasn't without her straw sunhat as she kept out of the rays while in the boiling hot country.

They enjoyed their fair share of tasty dinners and delicious-looking drinks at a string of restaurants and bars.

Their characters – Toyah and solicitor Imran – tied the knot in Corrie last year, despite him fathering a child with Abi Webster (Sally Carman).

Imran decided to leave the Cobbles in the summer of 2022.

The pair were seen looking close months later after they enjoyed a drink after she supported him on stage.  

Then in February this year Georgia ‘confirmed’ their romance with Charlie as they celebrated her birthday.

They cuddled up to enjoy the views from Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh.

The former couple met back in 2008 on Casualty and Charlie previously dated his former co-star Nicola Thorp.
