Junior Bake Off fans in stitches as contestant delivers brutal dressing down to host Harry Hill | The Sun

JUNIOR Bake Off fans were left in stitches as a contestant gave host Harry Hill a brutal dressing down.

The comedian, 58, is presenting the children's version of the hit Channel 4 baking show.

And the latest episode saw the junior bakers take on not one, but two challenges.

It was Bread Day, as they were tasked with creating a BBQ classic that's as cute as can be, and a Showstopper immortalising their best friends in bread form.

As Harry went around the tent speaking to the youngsters, one little girl put him in his place.

When the presenter tried to ask Immy about one of the boys, she snapped back.

I’d rip into Love Island on TV Burp but one new show is genius, says Harry Hill

"You seemed to get on very well together, what is it that you liked about him," remarked Harry.

"Do you want to change the subject," she said, adding: "It's a children's show, it's not appropriate."

But the iconic put downs didn't stop there as another contestant went on to criticise Hill's jokes.

He told her: "I've got a friend who has a phobia of spiders, and I said 'well it's an irrational fear,' and he said 'well no the truth is that my auntie was killed by a spider bite."

After hearing the tale, she replied: "I thought you were going to say that he said his auntie was a spider."

"Well, that was going to be the punchline," responded Harry, looking visibly deflated.

"None of your jokes have really worked out today," said the youngster, leaving viewers in hysterics.

Taking to social media, one said: "think this is one of the best shows on tv at the moment. Harry Hill is brilliant with the kids."

Another posted: "My kids love this. Harry makes them laugh."

"Harry was just owned by a 9 year old love her shes funny," said a third.

While a fourth commented: "Love little Immy but Harry brings out the best in these kids.."
