Andrew Tate, 35, appeared on Tuesday’s instalment of Piers Morgan: Uncensored where he addressed being banned from social media sites, including Twitter and Facebook, following his offensive remarks about women. Piers, 57, ripped into the controversial figure as their interview got underway and branded him “a misogynist” who was the “king of toxic masculinity”.

Piers began by saying Andrew’s videos have been viewed by billions of people online and he built an “enormous” following, mostly of young men.

“His often scandalous views about women have made him notorious across the world,” Piers told TalkTV viewers.

He proceeded to show viewers a video of Andrew saying his sister is her husband’s property as well as a clip of the athlete saying he does not believe depression exists.

Andrew had flown into the TalkTV studio from Romania to speak to Piers who asked him if he respected women.

Andrew confirmed he did before Piers asked if he stood by his comments that 19-year-old women are more attractive than 25-year-old women.

Piers fumed: “You know why I am asking you this.”

He explained Andrew reportedly said women under the age of 25 are “more attractive” as they have slept with fewer men.

Piers said: “That is misogyny because you are encouraging a mindset about 25-year-old women that makes them sound out to be infinitely less desirable than 18 or 19-year-olds and [you are saying] they’ve had too much sex to be taken in a respectable way.”

Andrew clapped back: “Well firstly, even if that was the case, that would not be misogyny. That’s not misogyny because it’s not anti-women.”

Piers told him being “anti-women at all” is classed as misogyny as the debate continued to heat up.

“I’m agest perhaps, but misogynists, absolutely not,” the British-American told Piers.

“You said it was misogyny and I am telling you it is not.”

Piers continued to try and hold Andrew to account and asked if he would apologise following his “sexist” comments about women.

“No I am not sorry, I am sorry that offends you, however, there is a large contingent of the world that believes that,” Andrew fumed.

Former Good Morning Britain host Piers wanted Andrew to apologise for being “blatantly misogynistic”.

Andrew defended his remarks and many viewers took to Twitter to voice their opinions on their argument.

Janette Galbraith penned: “I’ve never heard of him and after checking out who he was I can honestly say I never want to see him again!”

Pepe added: “How’s this not misogyny? It’s literally misogyny in its purest form.”

However, Paddy said: “It would be interesting to hear his reply instead of interrupting him every two seconds.”

Piers Morgan: Uncensored airs on weeknights at 8pm on TalkTV.
