A gang of bloodthirsty hyenas have been filmed hunting down a bedraggled rhino.
In the clip, filmed by Danie Bester, 31, the pack begin to target one of the animals.
The rhino appeared weak and bedraggled, with its rib cage visible through its skin.
As the horned creature attempts to nudge it away, other members of the pack begin to surround the weak rhino.
The wild beasts begin to bite into the rhino's rear end.
It soon becomes apparent the rhino's tail has been eaten away.
As the helpless animal attempted to flee the pack, one hyena leapt onto the animal's rear end and began to feast on its opened wound.

One hyena latched its teeth on to the rhino's injury before being dragged.
The rhino managed to flee the hyenas briefly seeing it darting for freedom.
Another rhino came to defend the bleeding animal but was soon forced to run away.
As the video drew to an end, the injured rhino was filmed being chased down by the pack.
The incident was captured near Pretoriuskop camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa, on October 23.
According to YouTube channel Kruger Sightings, the Kruger Vets went and darted the rhino, later that day to see what was happening.
It seemed as though the animal's leg was broken from a possible fight with another bull rhino.
The decision was then made to euthanize the creature as nothing further could be done.
Some 295,000 have since watched the clip.
One person said: "I've never seen rhinos so calm despite being eaten alive."
Another added: "First time I've ever seen rhinos just stand around and let predators attack."
While a third said: "I have never seen nor even heard of something like this happening before."
