I got tear trough filler but the practitioner hit a nerve so it went badly wrong – please don't make the same mistake | The Sun

IT seems as though more and more people are turning to cosmetic procedures to get the ‘perfect’ Instagram look.

But one woman named Simran, posting under the TikTok username ‘skdhesi0’, revealed that she got more than she bargained for when she got tear trough filler done and it went horribly wrong.

Tear trough filler, also referred to as under-eye filler, is a popular cosmetic solution for tackling tired looking eyes.

It is a non-surgical procedure that involves carefully injecting a gel-like substance into specific areas around the eyes, which works to replace the lost volume brought about through the ageing process.

The outcome is smoother, younger-looking, more radiant skin, and a reduction in deep wrinkles and lines.

But Simran was left devastated when she had tear trough filler done by a nurse, only for the nurse to accidentally hit a nerve, resulting in double vision, nerve damage and even severe toothache.

Meanwhile, another TikToker wondered: “Did she use a cannula? For tear trough a cannula should be used to avoid that” to which Simran said “No she used a needle”.
